Background/History:
Ravel and Tietous were brothers with a unique sibling rivalry when it came to
their homeland of Pegasus. Both wanted it to reclaim it's past glories and
stature, but their methods were as different as night and day. Tietous had that
rare combination of being both good and being lucky. He worked hard to gain
mastery of the wizard ways, but in his first adventure, he acquired 100 wizard
scrolls which aided him on his path to fame and glory. His reputation grew and
he amassed a crew of heroic adventurers including the spunky halfling, Derek,
Tiberous the cleric, and Dye Bo the ranger. Together, they drew followers and
grew in power. At the same time, Ravel was building alliances with evil forces
including Iuse, the demilich. The brothers and their opposing forces clashed in
legendary battles with neither side taking a decisive advantage, until Ravel set
upon a plan that included sacrificing his own son, Tieteron. Tietous, fueled
with rage over his brother's evil, gained an advantage and Ravel went so far as
to transform himself into a lich, but he was defeated and vanished into the
darkness. Tietous and his followers founded the Council and brought the land of
Pegasus back together as a prosperous nation. Tietous leads the Council,
adventures occasionally, and lives in his tower in the capital city of Pegasus.
